Organist Position Available

St. Andrew Presbyterian is in need of an organist to play for two traditional Sunday morning services.  In addition, attend mid-weekly rehearsals with the choir, funerals, services around holidays, and occasional special events. Seeking a person with experience and ability to play the pipe organ and piano as well as fit into a team approach ministry.

Witness & Mission – Personal Care Bags

The Witness & Mission committee creates personal care bags.  Bags are delivered to the Salvation Army Women & Children’s shelter and to CASA twice a year, Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Dear Friends,

As we enter the season of Easter, some have asked if I would discuss how to view scripture so, in these columns, we will be looking at how to read the Bible effectively.

We looked at some of the basics of the Bible and how to see the Bible in a larger fashion.  The Bible is clear that it is God’s Word to us. It does not simply contain the Word of God. It is God’s Word.
