DESCRIPTION:This year’s Bible Study is\, “Resilience: Finding Joy\, and our own identity in Jesus Christ.” How do we find our resilience and joy in the midst of stressful life circumstances? By reconnecting to our spirituality\, following women of the Bible\, and studying Jesus’ witness\, we can discover a path that helps us fully embrace who we are as faithful disciples. Join us as we rediscover our resilience\, joy and identity found in Christ. \nWe will begin this new Bible Study on Tuesday\, September 9th. We are blessed to have Pastor Mark lead both the morning and the evening Bible Studies. The daytime group meets from 10:00-11:15 a.m. and the evening group meets 7:00- 8:15 p.m. with childcare provided if needed. Please let Wendy McKinley know if you require childcare. \nWe meet at St. Andrew the second Tuesday of every month\, September through May.

SUMMARY:St. Andrew Deacons' Blood Drive
DESCRIPTION:Join St. Andrew Deacons and help save lives at a community blood drive. Every two seconds\, someone in the U.S. needs blood. That’s why we are on a mission to help save lives by hosting a blood drive on Tuesday\, September 9th from 12:30 pm to 6 pm in the Legacy Hall. Please help spread the word to your family\, friends and co-workers. \nThe community is invited to take part in this special event and donate blood for hospital patients in our neighborhoods and across the nation. The need for blood is constant\, but only 3 percent of the U.S. population donates. By rolling up a sleeve\, donors can play a critical role in the treatment of accident and burn victims\, heart surgery and organ transplant patients\, and those receiving treatment for leukemia\, cancer or sickle cell disease. \nf you would like some flyers to advertise the event\, please let Jen know.
