SUMMARY:Potluck with Friends
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our Friday Potluck Luncheon with Friends on March 20 at noon. Our next speaker is Len Schindel. He will be speaking on the book he wrote entitled “The Strike that Changed Maryland’s Wilderness County”. \nLen is a retired steel worker at Bethlehem Steel’s Sparrows Point\, MD where he worked for 30 years. In 2004\, after Bethlehem’s bankruptcy\, Mr. Schindel went to work for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a communications specialist in the union’s Washington D.C. headquarters\, winning many awards for his writing. \nBring a dish to share and enjoy the fellowship.
