SUMMARY:Operation Shoebox
DESCRIPTION:In case you haven’t . . .GO Boxes are Global Opportunity Shoeboxes we pack every year just before Christmas for children around the world. It is an opportunity to lead them to Jesus through a box that is fun\, filled\, and personal. Under the guidance of Samaritan’s Purse\, children who receive the boxes first participate in a lesson about Jesus by local teachers who have been specially trained. They also have an opportunity to continue learning about Him after the initial session. \nThe boxes are prepared for children from 2 through 14 years old. You can choose to pack a boy or girl’s box and the age of your child. Last year\, St. Andrew donated 167 boxes that went to Thailand. In the past\, our boxes went to the Dominican Republic and Tanzania. \nBoxes are available from October 18th to November 8th. Please return them as soon as possible so we can get them ready for the processing center. There is a $10 donation requested for shipping each of the boxes. A cart will be set out for your returned boxes. \nPlease prayerfully consider donating one or two boxes to children who will be blessed by the gift of your love and generosity.
