DESCRIPTION:Friday\, December 15\, noon. Hearts in Harmony will be blessing us with their music. They are a ladies barbershop quartet. Members: Betsy Brosmer [bass]\, Cindy Folk [tenor]\, Maxine Fewell [baritone] and Sherry Hansford [lead] met about 18 years ago as members of a barbershop chorus. In early 2015 they decided to get together as a separate quartet\, (having all been members of previous quartets) and the current Hearts In Harmony began. They have performed all over the local tri-state area in festivals\, church services and events\, community celebrations\, and senior living and retirement communities. They have also been invited to perform in other Barbershop Music venues and shows\, both men’s and women’s. Christmas is just about their favorite season to perform! \nPlease bring a dish to share\, and come join us.

With the support of the community\, they create lasting change for the men\, women and children in Hagerstown experiencing poverty\, hunger and homelessness. DESCRIPTION:We continue this year’s Bible Study\, “Sacred Encounters\, The Power and Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke-Acts.” We invite all Presbyterian women to meet with us to consider Jesus and His disciples who shared the Good News through sacred encounters with everyday people. Written by Luke\, a physician and companion of Paul\, the message to the early Christian community (and to us) is radical\, inclusive\, and hope-filled. \nPlease join us on Tuesday\, January 9\, as we continue this fascinating Bible Study. Pastor Mark will lead both the morning and the evening Bible Studies. The daytime group meets from 10:00-11:15 a.m. and the evening group meets from 7:00-8:15 p.m. with childcare provided as needed. Please let Terri Long if you require childcare. (We meet at St. Andrew the second Tuesday of every month\, September through May.) Joining one of our groups will help you grow deeper in your faith through the spiritual discipline of scripture with others.
