On September 18th\, at 11:30\, she will appear as Clara Barton\, the Red\nCross Angel. She was America's greatest heroine\, faced bullying and bullets with astonishing bravery to save the lives of others as a Civil War nurse. Clara went on to create The Missing Soldiers Office and the American\nRed Cross despite formidable obstacles. This award-winning show inspires all of us to “Never Give Up!” Lunch will follow the program. PLEASE NOTE: The program will start 1/2 hour earlier than usual due to the artist’s request.

DESCRIPTION:Mark Your Calendar for Saturday October 3\, 2026! \nIt’s The Harvest Hoedown \nWe need many volunteers the day of the Hoedown\, Saturday October 3\, 2026. Volunteers from last year did such a great job working the Scarecrow area. Please sign up again. There are jobs for everyone.\nIf you are an early bird\, we need you here at the church at 8:00 am to help load everything up to go to the park. There are 2 hour shifts for jobs such as Ticket booth\, Clothes tables\, supplies\, babysitting bought\nscarecrows\, helpers\, and to sell premade Scarecrows. A big need for help is at 4:00 pm to load up to return everything to the church. We need help! \nThe sign up sheet for the volunteer jobs\, at the Scarecrow Area is in the parlor. A Mission Committee member will be waiting there after each service in September to help you choose a job. Please sign up for a job\nand time slot that works for you ! This is the major fundraiser for the Williamsport Food Pantry to pay for rent\, utilities and to purchase food from the Maryland Food Bank. \nThe Mission Committee Thanks you for your support for this Outreach Mission.
