DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar now for our annual Christmas Bazaar! Is scheduled for Friday evening\, Nov. 8 (6:00-8:00pm) and Saturday Nov. 9 (8:00am-2:00pm). There you will find a variety of handmade crafts\, as well as lots of gift and thrift items for sale. \nIn the baked goods department\, you’ll find tasty candies\, cookies\, and other baked goods\, and our kitchen staff will be making made-to-order food items for you to enjoy before\, during\, or after you shop! \nOh yes! And don’t forget to bring your camera along (and maybe even your pet!) to take pictures with Santa on Saturday! \nTo make final preparations\, we will be having craft workshops every Monday between now and the Bazaar. A special thanks to all who have worked so hard on our crafts over the last several months! Anyone interested in donating cookies or other treats for our bake sale\, please add your name to our sign-up sheet in the entryway. \nWe will be needing a lot of people to work the event. If you can spare a couple hours (or more!) please consider adding your name to the sign-up sheet or see Marcia for available time slots. We will also need some workers to help set up during the week prior (Mon.-Thurs. DESCRIPTION:It is that time of year to get into your costumes and head over to the church\, Sunday\, October 27\, 6-7:30 for a great evening of fun\, games\, spooky house and of course Trunk or Treat. This is such a great event for everyone of all ages to participate. \n* Kids: Come dressed up in your Halloween Costume and enjoy a time of getting lots of candy from our Trunk or Treat that will be held in the parking lot. Come inside and enjoy lots of games\, crafts\, and refreshments. Please sign up if you plan on attending. Invite your friends. The more the merrier. \n* Adults: Join in on the fun and hand out candy from your vehicles to all the kids passing through. Feel free to dress up and to decorate your car if you want to. Please sign up if you plan on participating in the Trunk or Treat event. The more people participating the more fun it is for the kids. If you are not able to donate a trunk\, feel free to donate some candy. Please leave your candy in the office on the back counter. Thank you! \n*Anyone brave?? Go downstairs as the Youth Group will be hosting a spooky area. There are 2 levels of spookiness\, one not so scary and one a bit more scary. Take your choice as to which area (s) you want to visit. If you have not joined a Sunday School Class yet\, come and join us for this new year. We have classes for all ages\, including 3 Adult classes. Here is a brief summary of our Sunday School Program. \nSunday School is for everyone! If you haven’t joined a Sunday School class\, now would be a great time to join. Here is a brief summary of the choices for Sunday School. \nAll classes start at 9:45. Children in grades 5 and below meet in the sanctuary from 9:45-10:00 a.m. for a brief Opening Program. At this time we say the Pledge to the Christian Flag and to the Bible. We have a devotion\, a time of prayer and take up an offering. Our offering goes to support our sponsored child from Compassion International\, Programs from Samaritan’s Purse\, and church and local needs. At 10:00 the children are dismissed to their classroom. \nParents Please Note: If your child is in Grade 3 or below\, please pick them up in their classroom by 10:45.
