The youth will be back at church in time for their folks to pick them up at 8:00 p.m. \nFriends! We would love for you to invite your friends to Youth Group. What a better gift to give to a friend than the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If you bring a friend\, both you and the friend will receive a candy bar. You can invite that friend two separate times for the friend to be a friend for our contest. If the Youth Group invites 25 friends by the end of May\, we will have a very special trip! \n

DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for Saturday\, October 25th for the Sunday School Convention. This years convention will be held at Otterbein United Brethren Church is in Greencastle\, PA. The theme for this year’s convention is Equipping Believers With the Armor Of God. The day will feature an opening devotional session\, 24 different workshops to choose from\, displays and exhibits\, a catered lunch\, and much more. \nThis convention is for anyone who is teaching and also for those who would like to grown in their faith. There are workshops available for everyone. Pick up a brochure in the parlor and look over the wide selection of workshops. \nIf you are interested in attending\, please fill out the form and place it in the envelope provided at the sign up table. We will be hosting a fun evening for all ages. \nKids\, we will be having Trunk or Treat out in the parking lot starting at 6:00 p.m. Wear your favorite costume for this event. Adults\, we need volunteers to hand out candy at this event. If you would like to do this\, please sign up on sign up sheet in parlor. The more adults we have handing out candy the more fun it is for the kids. \nGames\, Crafts\, Refreshments: In the Legacy Hall we will have all sorts of fun games and crafts for kids of all ages to enjoy. We will also have refreshments and hot chocolate available. \nSpooky Area: Downstairs we will have a spooky area and a not quite so spooky area for everyone to enjoy. The Youth Group always does an amazing job in getting this altogether. \nKids\, please sign up if you plan on attending. Adults\, there is a separate sign up sheet for you to sign up if you plan on handing out candy for our Trunk or treat event.

He will give you the inside details about all the preparations involved in White House entertaining. Not only will he relate his first-hand experiences with history\, but he will pass on the stories from those people that he worked with. And after the program his book “A History of Entertainment in the Modern White House” will be available for purchase ($20\, cash or check) and signing. \nAlan DeValerio is originally from Rhode Island. He moved to the DC area out of an interest in writing political humor but ended up working at the White House as a butler from 1980 to 1990. \nPlease bring a dessert or side dish to share.

By reconnecting to our spirituality\, following women of the Bible\, and studying Jesus’ witness\, we can discover a path that helps us fully embrace who we are as faithful disciples. Join us as we rediscover our resilience\, joy and identity found in Christ. \nWe are blessed to have Pastor Mark lead both the morning and the evening Bible Studies.
