DESCRIPTION:Take a moment and imagine what Holy Week in Jerusalem may have looked like. Envision the cheering crowds on Palm Sunday\, their voices lifted in excitement and hope. Imagine the melody of crickets as you stroll through the Garden of Gethsemane. We can only wonder what the events leading up to the cross may have looked like\, and this year we are going to present them as a Walk Through Jerusalem event. We invite you to join us as our tour guide leads us from Palm Sunday to the empty tomb. This interactive event will take place on April 19th\, coinciding with the Easter Carnival. \nFurthermore\, we extend a call for volunteers to play the roles of Jesus\, Mary Magdalene\, and other essential figures. We would love to have you be a part in sharing the greatest story ever told! All are welcome to attend. DESCRIPTION:April 19\, Holy Saturday\, we will have an Easter Carnival on the back parking lot of the church. This will begin at 1:00 pm. It will have games\, Moon Bounce\, balloon animals\, and face painting. At 2:00 pm\, we will have a time of refreshments followed by the hunting for over 1000 stuffed Easter eggs. While the Carnival and Egg Hunt are going on\, we will also have a Walk Through Jerusalem\, an interactive experience highlighting the events of the last week of the life of Jesus.

DESCRIPTION:April 18\, Good Friday: We will give you two opportunities to walk with Jesus to the cross. We will have a physical Cross Walk beginning at noon at the church on the corner of Virginia Ave. and Cole Road. This walk will last approximately 45 minutes. We will end the walk back at the Virginia Ave. Church of God where we began. We will also have a virtual Cross Walk which will be on Facebook beginning at 2:00 pm. This walk will be like the stations of the cross and will end at 3:00 pm\, the traditional time that Jesus died on the cross.

DESCRIPTION:Have you wanted to go on a Mission trip but couldn’t take a week to go to Kentucky with the youth? Well here’s an opportune because St. Andrew Church volunteers will be going to Lee Street in Hagerstown\, Saturday April 12\, 2025 for a bed Build Day Event at Sleep in Heavenly Peace. So save the date! A sign up sheet will be in the narthex. All ages are welcome\, with children needing to be accompanied by a guardian. There is no experience necessary. \nWhat is Sleep in Heavenly Peace? It is a nonprofit providing handmade bunk beds to children who don’t have beds of their own. Not only do they deliver these beds to children in need\, but they partner with organizations\, churches\, businesses and individuals to build them at events called Build Days. \nOther ways you can help. 1. Donate to the cause. Each bed costs $250 to build and includes all of the bedding. If you want to donate any amount mark a pew envelope Sleep or Mission Committee. 2. Purchase bedding in Twin size: sheets\, mattress covers\, bedspreads\, pillows. A box will be in the narthex for collection. 3. Pray for this mission that we get volunteers and donations of bedding. \nThank you for your support. The Mission Committee
