DESCRIPTION:We will be starting a new Parenting Class this fall during the Sunday School hour\, 9:45-10:45. We will be using a book study guide and a DVD curriculum entitled “Effective Parenting”. As we all know\, parenting can be tough and challenging this day and age. In this study you will learn first hand tools to equip you to be an effective parent based on all Biblical principles. Even if you have a teen or adult child it is not too late to sharpen your shepherding skills. There will also be a lot of discussion and prayer time. We hope that you can join us as we work together to be the most effective parents possible. Pam and Jason McDonald will be facilitating this class. Class will start on Sunday\, September 17\, the Sunday after Rally Day.

DESCRIPTION:Rally Day! \nWe will be having our Rally Day\, Back to School Celebration on Sunday September 10\, 9:30 a.m. in the Legacy Hall. This is the day that we kick off our new Sunday School year. We will start off with a delicious breakfast served by the Fellowship Committee. At that time\, you will have the opportunity to register your child(ren) for the new 2023-2024 Sunday School year. After breakfast we will recognize all the Sunday School students from the previous year. We will end the morning by having an Open House for all students to meet their teachers. Please sign up if you plan on attending. If you have not participated in Sunday School previously\, please join us this year. We have classes for all ages\, including 3 Adult Classes. \nA Parenting Class taught by Pam and Jason McDonald. They will be doing a DVD/workbook series on Effective Parenting. This class meets in the Friendship Hall. Please sign up if you plan on attending. We want to make sure that we have enough study guides for everyone. \nSeekers Class is an in depth Bible Study taught by Pastor Mark and Hank Hemphill\, they meet in the Legacy Hall. They are currently studying Nehemiah. \nThe Voyager Class meets in the Conference Room. This is a book study that is chosen by the class. They are currently reading and discussing the book “Fearless”\, by Max Lucado \nSunday Night Classes are up and running again. This fall\, we will do a Tony Evans DVD/Workbook series on Victory in Spiritual Warfare. We will be starting on September 17\, 6-8:00 p.m. Please sign up by September 3 at the latest. We want to ensure we have enough books for everyone on the first night.
