This committee supervises the Christian Education of the St. Andrew Church Family and strengthens the congregation and the community through social activities scheduled throughout the year. The committee oversees and supports the Director of Christian Education, the Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator, and outreach for Sunday School classes, Vacation Bible School, and all activities for children and youth programs.
Helping Hands will meet in the Legacy Hall from 10 am – Noon, on Thursday, October 3, 10, and 31.
Pastor Mark’s 7:00 pm Bible Study about prayer will be held in the Legacy Hall on Thursday October 3, 10, 24, and 31. We will look at the Biblical call to prayer, the importance of prayer, as well as different techniques and methods of praying. All are welcome. Note: There will be no Bible study on October 17.
On Sunday, October 27, the Harvest Party/Trunk, or Treat is from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Kids: Come dressed up in your Halloween costume for a night of fun, games, spooky house, and of course Trunk or Treat. Adults: Join in on the fun and hand out candy from your vehicles to all the kids passing through. Feel free to dress up and decorate your car. If you cannot make a treat trunk, feel free to donate some candy. You can leave the candy on the back counter of the office. Please sign up if you plan on
attending the Harvest Party.
Monday, October 28, Supper Club will meet at Western Sizzlin; at 5:30 pm.
The new Sunday evening Bible Study began on October 6. The study is a Tony Evans Bible study titled, “Kingdom Authority.” It is a six-week study that meets in the Friendship Hall. The group will meet on October 13, and then on November 1, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Note: There will be no Bible Study on October 20 and October 27.
