Century of Song (3.27.26)

“Celebrating 100 years of American Music.”

Just in time for spring, Century of Song is a retro style dinner show offering a whirlwind trip through America’s musical favorites of the last 100 years. If you love rock-n-roll and record players, poodle skirts and swing dancing, then this is the show for you!

We are sponsoring an evening at Antietam Entertainment for their Spring show. This year, we will be going as a church group on Friday, March 27th at 6:00 pm. What a great way to begin the Spring season by enjoying a wonderful evening of fun, food, fellowship, and a great musical show with your church family.

Here is a sneak preview of what the evening is all about: Pre-Dinner Activities: 30 minutes ● Root Beer Floats ● Highlights from the Silver Screen ● Bring Your Classic Car (Special parking will be provided)

Church Work Day (3.21.26)

There will be an all-Church Work Day on Saturday, March 21, 9 am to 1pm. We will focus on painting, clearing out items, repainting the youth room wall, gardening, and general items. Lunch will be provided. Please sign up if you can join us.

Coffee Hour (3.15.26)

This month’s coffee hour is on Sunday, March 15, 2026. Lauren Goodwin (parish 6) and Steve and Teri Young (parish 14) will host March’s coffee hour. If you are in parish 6 or 14, please let your parish leader know what you will be donating for the coffee hour. This helps us with planning. Thank you!

Ash Wednesday Service (2.18.26)

There will be an Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 18, beginning at 6:30 pm with a covered dish supper. Please bring a dish to share. The service which will feature communion, the renewal of our baptismal vows, the application of ashes, special music, and a message. The service will begin at 7:15 pm.

Coffee Hour (2.15.26)

Please join us for delicious food and warm fellowship in the Legacy Hall from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.  The Coffee Hour is co-hosted by Parishes 3 (Tammy Jamison) and 11 (Chris Lunsford). Hope to see you there!

Valentine Party (2.8.26)

Just a reminder that our Valentine Party will be on Sunday, February 8, at noon. Kids, when you bring your valentines on the 8th, please drop them off in the big Valentine Box in the entryway as soon as you come to church. We want to start hiding all the valentines as soon as they come in. All kids participating in the Valentine Card Exchange should have received a letter going over the details for the card exchange. If you did not receive a letter, please call the church office, 301-223- 8887. Thank you!

Meet Bible Characters (1.25.26)

Come meet a favorite Biblical Character. This event will be on January 25 immediately after the second service. Come and enjoy a baked potato meal as well as meet some of the characters out of the Bible such as Peter and John the Baptist, Mary and Martha, and more. It will be a fun event as well as a fundraiser for our youth ministry

We thank you for making our drives successful. If you can’t make our date, please look at the drives scheduled around the area and find a date that works for you.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!

Christmas Eve Services (12.24.25)

Join us this Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We will gather for worship, special music, and reflection. All are welcome.

There are two services: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
