Christmas Bazaar (11.7 – 11.8)

Mark your calendar now for our annual Christmas Bazaar! It is scheduled for Friday evening, Nov. 7 (6:00-8:00pm) and Saturday Nov. 8 (8:00am-2:00pm). There you will find a variety of handmade crafts, as well as lots of gift and thrift items for sale. In the baked goods department, you’ll find tasty candies, cookies, and other baked goods, and our kitchen staff will be making made-to-order food items for you to enjoy before, during, or after you shop! Oh yes! And don’t forget to bring your camera along (and maybe even your pet!) to take pictures with Santa!

Operation Shoebox (now – 11.9)

Beginning today, Operation Christmas Child GO (Global Opportunity). Boxes are ready for distribution to be filled with love and joy for children around the world. These boxes will give recipients the opportunity to learn about Jesus and His love for them.

Last year, some of our 130 boxes went to Tanzania. In the past, others have gone to the Dominican Republic. This year we have 150 plus boxes. The goal is to make them fun, filled and personal with a “WOW” gift, school supplies and toys. You can even add a personal note from you. There is a new regulation from Samaritan’s Purse this year, no soap is allowed in the boxes. Some countries are not taking boxes with soap because it can mold while in transport.

There are some free stuffies available on the table in the Narthex. and information on the table in the parlor. GO boxes are due back at church by November 9th . Thank you for reaching out to children everywhere in the holy and precious name of Jesus.

If you have any questions, contact Mo Theriault.

St. Andrew Deacons Blood Drive (9.9.25)

Join St. Andrew Deacons and help save lives at a community blood drive. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. That’s why we are on a mission to help save lives by hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 9th from 12:30 pm to 6 pm in the Legacy Hall. Please help spread the word to your family, friends and co-workers.

The community is invited to take part in this special event and donate blood for hospital patients in our neighborhoods and across the nation. The need for blood is constant, but only 3 percent of the U.S. population donates. By rolling up a sleeve, donors can play a critical role in the treatment of accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer or sickle cell disease.

If you would like some flyers to advertise the event, please let Jen know. Drive Details:
