St. Andrew Presbyterian Church
Located in Williamsport, Maryland, St. Andrew is a dynamic and growing congregation with activities for youths, adults, singles, and families.
Have you wanted to go on a Mission trip but couldn’t take a week to go to Kentucky with the youth? Well here’s an opportune because St. Andrew Church volunteers will be going to Lee Street in Hagerstown, Saturday April 12, 2025 for a bed Build Day Event at Sleep in Heavenly Peace. So save the date! A sign up sheet will be in the narthex. All ages are welcome, with children needing to be accompanied by a guardian. There is no experience necessary.
What is Sleep in Heavenly Peace? It is a nonprofit providing handmade bunk beds to children who don’t have beds of their own. Not only do they deliver these beds to children in need, but they partner with organizations, churches, businesses and individuals to build them at events called Build Days.
Other ways you can help. 1. Donate to the cause. Each bed costs $250 to build and includes all of the bedding. If you want to donate any amount mark a pew envelope Sleep or Mission Committee. 2. Purchase bedding in Twin size: sheets, mattress covers, bedspreads, pillows. A box will be in the narthex for collection. 3. Pray for this mission that we get volunteers and donations of bedding.
