Vacation Bible School Video: God’s creativity, His plan and how He works to fulfill that plan through us.

What a wonderful week we had at V.B.S. We had around 70 people attend V.B.S. from toddlers to adults.  What a blessing it was to have so many people of all ages come out to learn more and grow deeper in their faith.  We had around 50 people volunteer to help out!  We could not have done this without the help of so many people.  Thank you to those who volunteered your time, resources, and services to make this such an amazing week for kids of all ages!

Everyone had a blast! Check out our V.B.S. video!

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Each spring, Annette Sandell, St. Andrew’s Director of Christian Education, and Pastor Mark
Sandell, host a breakfast to honor the Sunday School Teachers. Teachers, families, and
members of the congregation enjoyed a full breakfast provided by the Fellowship Committee.
Teachers also received a potted plant and a small gift book. A nice crowd enjoyed this annual
Teacher Appreciation breakfast.

St. Andrew offers year-round Sunday School for all ages, nursery through retirees. Not only
does Sunday School allow attendees to learn about Jesus and Bible truths, it also provides a
way to become friends with others in the class. All curriculum and materials are provided.
Anyone is welcome to attend Sunday School. Not involved with our Sunday School? You are welcome to visit a class that meets your needs next Sunday.

Dear Friends,

As we enter the season of Easter, some have asked if I would discuss how to view the scripture so, in these columns we will be looking at how to read the Bible effectively. We looked at some of the basics of the Bible and how to see the Bible in a larger fashion.  The Bible is clear that it is God’s Word to us.  It does not simply contain the Word of God.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a twice-monthly event. Annette Sandell, Director of Christian Education, provides the materials and activities for items needed for Sunday School classes, church, and other seasonal events. These photos show the volunteers who are preparing the curriculum, folding bulletins, painting flower pots for teachers, and taking down the “winter” trees. Participants bring a sandwich, enjoy the provided side dishes as they enjoy lunch and fellowship while providing these much-needed services.  Anyone is welcome to come to Helping Hands. Dates and times are listed on the church calendar.
