September’s Newsletter

Dear Friends,

The Covid Crisis has tested us as individuals, as a nation, and as a church. We have re-alized in the midst of all of this to pray for those on the front lines of the crisis—the doctors, the nurses, the aides. Then, as the crisis continued, we realized that there are others in our lives who are needed for our lives to be normal—grocery clerks, the truck drivers, those who are in the manufacturing business, those who make masks, those who make hand sanitizer and toilet paper and sanitizing wipes, and those who collect our trash to name a few. As we pro-ceeded through the crisis, we began to realize that those who keep us safe are also vital—the police, the military, the fire fighters, the EMTs. In addition, we need to pray for those in gov-ernment who seek to lead us through this crisis. [Read more…]

Mission Trip Is Around The Corner!

Hello St Andrew! Just a reminder from your Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator that next week, August 17th to 20th from 9am to 2pm, is our mission week. Just the same as when we go to Big Creek, this is open to adults as well as the youth. If you have time to spare in your busy schedule, come out and get to know the youth of the church and work with them as they spruce up the church inside and out. This is your opportunity to be a part of the future of St. Andrew and participate in mission work here at home.

Please let me know if you are able to attend and which day or days and times so we can plan lunches which are provided. I look forward to seeing you there!

Chris Johnson, Youth and Young Adult Ministry Coordinator

Mission Trip on August 17th – 20th

The youth will be hosting a mission week here at St. Andrew August 17th to 20th. It is an opportunity to share Christ’s love with the church and community. [Read more…]
